The trajectory of this Chef covers all the steps in the hospitality world. Since his teenagers’ years, Chef Rodrigo while finishing his bachelor’s degree on his free time started working in a restaurant in his hometown Navarra. Later, the Chef has not stopped and moved around several cities such as Barcelona, Mallorca, Berlin, Olten (Switzerland), eager to learn and live new experiences. He has been moving through different cuisines for several years, broadening his knowledge and influences.
His interest in learning led him back to Spain, where he completed a master’s degree at the Basque Culinary Center Foundation (one of the top culinary cuisine schools in Spain) and learned about the product, its properties and its behavior when manipulated in the kitchen. The focus on the product was also one of the essentials in the kitchen of the Les Cols Restaurant in Gerona (2 Michelin Stars) where Chef Rodrigo took an internship at the end of his Master.
This journey allows him to explore different flavors and textures when cooking, having a preference for combining seasonal products with asians. Perfectionist and meticulous at the time of plating, his dishes look like a masterpiece.
