Daniel Salvador’s passion for cooking blossomed in his family’s kitchen around the age of 12. Ever since, he has been eagerly learning from the best mentors, exploring every possible ingredient, and experimenting with different flavours, scents and textures, to become the accomplished chef he is today.

Having studied in the prestigious ‘Escola Universitaria d’Hosteleria i Turisme’ in Sant Pol de Mar, near his hometown of Barcelona, his journey saw him experience multiple Michelin-starred kitchens across Spain for over a decade, prior to arriving in London in 2008.

Initially a chef at Harrods, an entrepreneurial spirit soon saw Daniel launch his own Mediterranean catering company and begin work as a private chef, attracted by the diversity of challenges and the opportunity to cater in such different contexts as private homes, at large corporate events and weddings, offering a sophisticated dining experience one day and serving a barbecue or a paella the next.

Trained as a Nutritional Consultant by Stonebridge College, and a member of the Royal Horticultural Society, Daniel sources his ingredients from his own garden as well as from the best local providers, in order to extract pure flavours from seasonal, organic products.

His vast amount of experience and knowledge will be available to readers worldwide. At least, that is the plan, one day. For now, the Chef’s secrets are available to his family, who own Daniel’s first cookbook, a private edition for his closest confidants.
