Mikel says that his chemistry studies have helped him to better understand the food processes and the way to cook them. He discovered the passion for cooking at her grandmother's house. His family is from Donosti and the family meetings always spun around the kitchen. He has the kitchen in his blood, but he was told at home that he had to study. While studying Chef Mikel started working in the hospitality industry, where he discovered his true vocation.
With his first professional training he obtained an internship at the Álbora restaurant, where they get a Michelin Star, and at the same time he decides to complete his training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu haute cuisine school in Madrid.
After three years working in Álbora, first as pastry Chef and the following year in meats, he joins the team of A'Barra (of the same group), with Chef Antonio Medina leading, where they also get a Michelin Star.
For this Chef, the product is the base and he will not hesitate to apply it new techniques to surprise the most exquisite palates

Elegimos la opción por nuestro aniversario y así poder tener una experiencia en casa estando los niños. Nos encantó el menú, la facilidad con la que lo personalizamos, el chef, el menú y la sensación de estar en un restaurante de categoría sin salir de casa. Todo estaba riquísimo y el chef super atento y discreto. Encima luego estaba toda la cocina como si no hubiera pasado nada, repetiremos.
