Teriyaki Sauce
It's one of the most famous japanese sauces, generally used to marinate meat or fish. You can eat both marinade, grilled or fry after. It's a magical combination of soy sauce, sake, sugar, ginger and vinegar. Some people add other seasonings but it's not absolutely necessary. Another advantage is that is not a complicated sauce to prepare: You have to simply mix the ingredients and let them rest.
